Counselling and psychotherapy in Exeter and London

A warm welcome from Amanda Farrington M.A., experienced counselling psychotherapist.

How could counselling help you?

I’m passionate about helping people to resolve the challenges that they may be dealing with or issues which are troubling them. Everyone is unique and I approach each situation with sensitive pacing and pay attention to the ways in which different life experiences shape us all. We can work together to address the underlying causes of emotions, feelings or pain you may be experiencing in daily life, bringing you a greater sense of wellbeing.

Stress or Anxiety

Stress is one of the most common health issues facing many people in their daily lives. Psychotherapy can help you better manage it and lead a happier, more rewarding life

Relationship Issues

Relationships are complicated. You might be having difficulties in your existing relationship, lacking trust or perhaps feeling betrayed? Or maybe finding yourself unable to fully commit to one

Depression

Depression affects 1 in 6 people in the UK. You may be finding it difficult to deal with work, sad or fed up. Psychotherapy will help you to explore the causes of these feelings and find a route forward

Something Missing?

Many people come to see me when to all intents and purposes their lives 'look' fine, but inside is a contradictory feeling of life not being 'OK'. It's good to talk
